We are a dental-focused advisory firm that built a dedicated 401(k) practice for dentists. Advisors you can talk to, plan design made for a dental office, and a person you can always reach.

Too many of the dental practice 401(k)s we see were never designed. They were set up by a generalist advisor or bundled in by a payroll company, and no one has since dissected the fees, the investments, or the design.
We built this practice to change that. One dental-focused team handles the practice 401(k) and your personal financial plan together, so the plan you offer your staff and the wealth you build for yourself move in the same direction.

Stan Stewart founded Virtus Financial Partners with a clear conviction: dental professionals deserve a financial advisor who understands their world - not just the numbers, but the career arc, the practice decisions, and the life behind it all. That belief has guided every client relationship since day one.
Today, Stan works alongside dentists at every stage - from residents navigating student debt to seasoned practice owners planning their exit. His approach starts with listening, moves to education, and results in a financial plan built around the life you actually want to live. It's why clients who came to him during periods of uncertainty stayed long after the uncertainty passed.
Before finance, Stan's path was anything but conventional. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where he played baseball for the Gators, and went on to play professionally with the New York Yankees. After stepping off the field, he completed his MBA with a concentration in finance in 2002 from the University of Central Florida - and redirected the same discipline and competitiveness into building a financial planning practice from the ground up.
Outside the office, Stan and his wife are embracing a new chapter as empty nesters - spending time in the Florida Keys, traveling whenever the calendar allows, and getting outdoors as much as possible. Their kids still make it home when their busy schedules line up, and those are some of the best weekends of the year.

Brad Combes has spent the past two decades helping individuals and dental professionals take control of their financial lives. His approach is built on a simple foundation: take the time to understand what matters most to a client, then build a plan around that - not the other way around. It's a philosophy rooted in education, collaboration, and the kind of thoughtful planning that gives clients real confidence in where they're headed.
That client-first mindset shows up in everything Brad does. He works closely with dentists at every career stage - from associates managing student debt to practice owners navigating the complexities of business growth and long-term wealth. His comprehensive approach centers on clear communication and ongoing guidance, ensuring clients feel informed and empowered at every turn.
Before finance, Brad's path included a healthy dose of competition. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, where he played collegiate basketball. He went on to complete his MBA from Berry in 2005 - while simultaneously coaching the college's inaugural women's volleyball team. He holds the CLU® professional designation from The American College of Financial Services, bringing both strategic depth and technical rigor to every client engagement.
Outside the office, Brad is deeply involved in his community - volunteering with Athlete Connections, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Guys with Ties, and the Central Florida YMCA. He and his wife, Liz, are loyal Dallas Cowboys and Orlando Magic fans who love traveling, boating, and cheering from the stands. They live an active life in Central Florida with their son, Dutton, and two English bulldogs - Wellington and Risotto.

A.J. Stevenson joined Virtus Financial Partners with a genuine passion for helping people make sense of their financial lives. His goal isn't just to build a plan, it's to make sure the planning process resonates with the people he serves. Dentists face a unique set of challenges: they're running a business, managing cash flow, navigating student debt, and planning for a future that looks different at every stage. A.J. sees that complexity as an opportunity to provide real, meaningful guidance.
What sets A.J. apart is his belief that financial planning works best when both partners are part of the conversation. Whether a client's spouse is also a practicing dentist, working in another field, or focused on the home front, A.J. makes it a priority to understand what matters to each person. As a husband and father of four, he's no stranger to the juggling act that comes with balancing family, finances, and long-term goals. He brings that empathy into every client relationship.
A.J.'s approach is grounded in clear communication and genuine connection. He takes the time to walk clients through the “why” behind every recommendation, making complex financial concepts feel approachable rather than overwhelming. It's the kind of advisor relationship where clients don't just trust the plan, they understand it.
Away from his clients, you'll find A.J. at his kids' games, on a date night with his wife, or behind the turntables mixing electronic music from his vinyl collection. He follows IMSA sports car racing, bleeds green and gold for the Packers, and plays golf and tennis whenever he can. His favorite version of any hobby? The one where his family tags along.
